Professional and Olympic gold medal softball pitcher Monica Abbott will serve as an ambassador for EyeBlack as it increases in popularity through the sport. Abbott collaborated with the company to design her own EyeBlack line which will be produced on the product’s Original design. 

Monica Abbot attended the University of Tennessee and played for the Lady Volunteers softball team from 2004-2007. During her college career, Abbott set the record for the most strikeouts in a Division I softball season and became the NCAA Division I Softball all-time leader in career wins, strikeouts, shutouts, innings pitched, games started and games pitched. In 2007, Abbott was the recipient of the 2007 Honda Sports Award for the Top Collegiate Softball Player in the country, was named the 2007 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year, and was also named the 2007 Women's Sports Foundation Sportswoman of the Year.

After the conclusion of her senior season, Abbott went on to find success at both the professional and international levels. In 2008, Abbott made her Olympic debut with Team USA, earning a silver medal at the Beijing Olympics. Since then Abbott has played for a variety of US Softball teams as well as making a trip to Japan to play professional softball for Toyota Motor Corporation. Abbott currently plays for the Chicago Bandits of the National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) softball league. The Bandits were the 2011 NPF World Champions and Abbott was Awarded 2011 NPF Co-Pitcher of the Year.
